1. Rent Credit Toward Purchase
If you are currently renting equipment from BCI Rentals and wish to purchase that same equipment, BCI may, at its discretion, apply eighty-five percent (85%) of the base rental payments you have actually paid toward the purchase price of that equipment.
- Only the base rental rate qualifies.
- The following do not count toward the credit: sales tax, damage waiver (LDW), delivery/pickup fees, fuel, environmental fees, late charges, cleaning fees, damage charges, or any other non-rental charges.
2. Purchase Price
The purchase price will be determined by BCI Rentals at the time you elect to purchase. It will generally be based on the equipment’s then-current fair market value, age, condition, hours, and market conditions. BCI reserves the right to set or adjust the final selling price.
3. Conditions For Exercising the Option
To apply the rent credit and purchase the equipment, all of the following must be true:
- Your rental account is current and in good standing (no past-due balances).
- The equipment is returned (or made available for inspection) in good working condition, subject only to normal wear and tear.
- You provide written notice of your intent to purchase.
- BCI approves the purchase (approval is not automatic).
- You pay the remaining balance, all applicable taxes, title/transfer fees, and any other amounts due at the time of sale.
4. Important Limitations
- This option does not create any ownership interest, equity, or right of possession beyond the standard rental agreement.
- The rental remains a true rental until the purchase is completed and paid in full.
- BCI may withdraw or modify this option at any time prior to a completed purchase.
- Credits are non-transferable and apply only to the specific unit being rented.
- This arrangement is offered only on select equipment and is not available on every rental.
5. How to Proceed
If you are interested in purchasing equipment you are currently renting, contact BCI Rentals. We will review your account, inspect the equipment if needed, and provide a written purchase quote showing the applicable rent credit and remaining balance due.
