What is a Harley rake, and when do I want one?

A Harley rake, also called a power rake or soil conditioner, is a powered drum studded with carbide teeth. It chews up compacted soil, buries or windrows small rock, fills low spots, and shaves high spots in the same pass. It is the fastest way to turn a rough or torn-up yard into a seed-ready surface, which is why it books solid every spring and fall around here.

What size auger bit do I need for fence posts?

For a standard 4x4 wood post, an 8 inch bit gives you room for concrete around the post. A 6 inch bit works for light picket fencing in good soil, and 12 inch and larger bits are typical for deck footings and pole barns. The Bore Pig drive in our fleet handles bits from 4 to 48 inches, and we stock an 18 inch bit.

Will these attachments fit my skid steer?

Almost certainly. Quick Attach builds to the universal skid steer quick-attach standard used by nearly every modern skid steer and compact track loader. If you are running something unusual, call us with the make and model and we will confirm before you drive out.

Should I rent or buy?

If the attachment earns money for you a few weekends a year, renting usually wins. If it goes out on your machine every week, owning wins fast, and as a dealer we can order it new with factory warranty. Renting first is a smart way to prove the attachment on your own jobs, and we are glad to talk through rent-to-purchase.
